I studied Radio-TV and Photography at Sam Houston State Univ. for two years before enlisting in the US Navy and completing their School of Photography and getting a Photographer’s Mate rating. I worked in and around Aerial Photography, Camera systems maintenance, Studio, Photojournalism, and Photolab practices during my enlistment. With an Honorable Discharge, I began working in the Commercial and Industrial realm, moving to Corporate photography, animation stand and Computer graphics. Somewhat later, I worked in the Wedding and Portrait business for 10+ years, before returning to Commercial / Industrial Photography. Along the way, I completed my college with a BA in Journalism (Adv.) and a BA in RTF at the University of Houston.\r\n\r\nMy Skills Include:\r\nCanon and Nikon systems, Dynalite, ProPhoto, Comet, Photogenic and many other flash systems, Mole-Richards, Arriflex, Jokers, Lite Panels and other continuous lighting, in addition to softboxes and stands, I am familiar with the equipment found on a Grip Truck. I have also driven one many times. I have scouted locations and delivered reports with photos, maps and other content. I also work as a sound recordist for motion, as well as video camera operator. \r\n\r\nI have a current Passport, a TWIC card, HUET certification, and three different SCUBA certifications. Although I am based in Houston, I can easily work as a ‘local’ for a multi-day job in Dallas and San Antonio, Texas.\r\n\r\nMy specialty is use my complete scope of still, motion and sound skill while assisting someone who needs to produce still and motion photography with the same crew on location.
