I am a visual storyteller.\r\n\r\nI have gone from taking stills with an old 110 film camera, to making shorts with my parent’s video camera, to rediscovering photography with my first film SLR, to getting my first DSLR 8 years ago, to most recently capturing amazing stories with my Canon C100 and Canon 5D3. \r\n\r\nSome of my recent adventures have include being the Director of Photography for the critically acclaimed internationally award winning psychological thriller “Absentia.” ABSENTIA has sold over 100,000 DVDs and is available streaming in HD on Netflix and on Showtime. My duties on ABSENTIA also included shooting the interviews for the behind the scenes documentary on the DVD. \r\n\r\nIn October 2012 I spent the month on set in Alabama shooting behind the scenes video and interviews for the Mike Flanagan feature OCULUS. OCULUS just had it’s world premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival during Midnight Madness. The film is scheduled to be released wide into theaters in the coming months. The documentary I shot will be available on the OCULUS Blu-Ray/DVD. \r\n\r\nI love capturing stories whether it’s a bride on her wedding day, the birth of one of my children, or the acted out words of a brilliant screenwriter.
